Manufacturers Sales Representatives
In December of 1959, Leroy Eschner and Evert Keranen founded Eschner & Keranen, Inc., an industrial sales representative firm. They owned and operated the company for almost ten years then Walter Bajus, joined the firm. Mr. Eschner passed away and Mr. Keranen eventually retired, leaving Walt to work on his own until 1993, at which time Bob Evans joined the firm, adding Norma Longhini in 1996.
In 1997 Tim Guthrie joined the firm and in 1998, Walt retired.
At that point the company name was changed to EK Associates, Inc.
In 2005 as Tim retired, Joe Braun and Steve Parisi joined the firm
bringing with them over twenty-five years of combined successful
sales experience in this territory. In December of 2006, Amy Manzo
joined our team as an Inside Sales person. Rounding out our current team, Rebecca Vietzen joined EK September 2007 and serves as office administrator.
While the faces and names have changed the unwavering professionalism indicative of the company founders has not, EK Associates continues to sell custom designed and standard products and services to major OEM's in Illinois and Wisconsin direct and through distribution.
From the beginning, the work of the firm has been the professional sales of products to commercial and industrial customers. This tradition continues today. Our combined experience in covering Northern Illinois and Wisconsin has proven to be beneficial to all of our principals and customers. For over fifty years, EK Associates has distinguished itself as a premier professional selling organization. With our continuation of that effort, the company will forge ahead into the future, carefully selecting both principals and customers.

Steve Parisi Kent has been in sales and marketing in the electronics industry for the last 14 years. He has worked in both distribution and as an electronics representative.
